Arba’een Minis: A Sponsored Walk for Kids

 

Join us for a special sponsored walk designed for children to learn about the importance of Arba’een. This event is is for all ages.

 

The walk will take place on Friday, 8th August 2025, from 12 PM to 3 PM at Northala Fields in Northolt. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to ensure their safety and enjoyment throughout the event.

 

Feel free to bring any food you wish for your child, although food will be provided. Please remember to check the weather forecast beforehand and dress your child appropriately for the conditions.

 

We look forward to seeing you there for a meaningful and fun-filled day!
The meet-up and starting point will be at the in between the first two hills, furthest  to the right, where the mini maseera will begin. After the initial gathering, the walk will commence, guiding the children around the park and up the main middle hill.

 

During the walk, there will be mini Mowakib of your favorite organisations handing out snacks, drinks, and flags for the children. Once everyone reaches the top of the hill, Dua al Faraj will be recited followed by a pledge of allegiance to the imam of our time.

 

The group will then head down the hill to a picnic area where the children can sit and enjoy their meals. . Additionally, the Imam Hussein Charity and Umaimen Books will have a stall in the picnic area, offering merchandise for sale.
The tickets are completely free, but spaces are limited, so make sure to sign up before it’s too late!

For each child that signs up, we will make a sponsorship page which they can share to raise donations for the needy around the worlds.
Our event is entirely funded by donations and sponsorships from the kids, so we urge you to sponsor your child and help contribute to this amazing project, supporting those in need. Your generosity makes a significant difference!
